Parents - please come along to the Parent Community meeting on Tuesday 14th November from 3.30pm in the 6R classroom. The meeting will be an opportunity to discuss key dates for this term and to allocate roles and responsibilities for the Table Top sale, Festive Fair and Winter Disco.

We are consulting on our proposal to become an academy and to create a multi-academy trust with Chestnut Grove School. All parents and carers should have received a letter about this, please ask at the school office if you have not received your copy. You can also find information about the proposal at this link, which includes an online questionnaire so that you can let us have your views on the proposal. We are holding a consultation meeting at school on Tuesday 10th October at 3.30pm, and then repeated at 5.30pm. We look forward to seeing you there.
At Chesterton we believe that regular homework not only helps children's achievement, but also provides parents with a clear idea of how they can support learning at home. Please take a look at the homework information at this link to see what our expectations are of each Year group.
Year 6 parents and carers please join us at school from 3.30pm on Tuesday (12th September) for an information session on how to apply for a secondary school place for your child. We'll be sharing lots of important information with you, and answering your questions, so please join us if you can.
Reception parents please come and join your children for the launch of their Autumn term topic this Monday (11th September). All classes will be involved in an exciting morning of immersion into their new topics. Core texts will be shared and parents are encouraged to come along and support all the exciting and creative activities. These sessions will run from 9:00-10:00am.
A quick reminder to parents whose children will be in our Nursery this year. We provide all children with 15 hours a week free of charge and we also offer parents the option to top up to full-time (30 hours a week) if there are places available. The cost is £10 a day/£50 a week and top up fees are payable termly in advance. If you have any questions, or would like to find out about availability of top up places, please come to the school office or call us on 020 7622 1619.
