We can hardly believe it's almost that time again! Our annual Great Fete takes place this year on Saturday 6 July from 10am to 1pm. Chesterton families, friends and neighbours are welcome to join us for a morning of fun games, great stalls, a BBQ and lots of other food options. If you would like to have a stall at the event please contact our school office for details.
We had a fantastic WE Walk for Water day of action on Friday 3rd May. Thank you to all our wonderful Chesterton families who walked with us to raise awareness and funds for this important cause. Our fundraising page is still open. If you'd like to donate please do so here
The children are busy preparing for their annual WE Walk for Water day of action on Friday 3rd May. This includes learning about the importance of access to clean water in their lessons and campaigning around the local community. They are also fundraising with the aim of beating their amazing total of £2,000 achieved last year! All pupils have sponsor forms, please do get involved if you can.

We would like to invite you to our Spring Coffee Morning on Wednesday 20th March at 9.00 am at Chesterton Primary school. The Coffee Morning will give you an opportunity to find out how you can help your child with development of their Speech and Language skills at home. Our Speech and Language Therapists Casandra Foskett and Casey Gamble will be there to answer any questions you may have.

A reminder to Year 6 parents and carers about our SATs briefing on Thursday 7th March. This is a great opportunity to learn now to support your child during these tests. You can play a really important role in helping them to feel calm and prepared. Please join us in classroom 6M at 3.30pm.

Visitors often don't realise what an amazing range of outdoor spaces we have for learning here at the school. In fact it's possible to go from 'Italy' to 'Japan' and back to the allotment in the space of a lunchtime! You can read all about our outdoor spaces here, and see some wonderful photos. Parents and carers - don't forget the workshop on our outdoor curriculum taking place on 6th of March.
We're so excited and we just can't hide it....Thursday 17th January is Disco Dinners Day when we hope lots of children will come and enjoy disco-themed meals in their best spangly outfits!
