A quick reminder to all parents and carers in Year 2 that we have a meeting about Year 2 SATs taking place at school tomorrow (Friday), just after drop-off. Please contact your child's class teacher if you are unable to make it and have any specific questions that you'd like to ask.
We've got a great selection of before and after school activities on offer this term, including cooking, invasion games and netball! If you haven't already had a look and booked your child's place please see full details at this link. All activities start on Monday 24 April.
In case you missed it in the newsletter, this week we received a special award for our school's outstanding results in the end of year 2016 National Curriculum (SATs) tests. Wandsworth Councillor and Cabinet Member for Children's Services Kathy Tracy has congratulated all of us on our achievement. Chesterton was one of the top five schools in the country with the highest proportion of disadvantaged pupils meeting the expected KS2 standard in reading, writing and maths!
School breaks up at 2pm today (Friday 31st) and we're back at school on Tuesday 18th April. We hope you have a cracking Easter and see you in a couple of weeks!

After school on Thursday 30th March we'll be hosting our spectacular Spring Fair. Come along for the chance to win delicious Easter eggs, or a football signed by the whole Chelsea team! We'll also have fabulous gift stalls, and plenty of refreshments. All money raised will go towards new books and other equipment for the school library. Look forward to seeing all parents and carers there!
Next Tuesday, Chesterton will host Wilson Meikuaya and Jackson Ntrikana from Kenya!

Parents in Years 3 to 6 we are holding a Maths workshop for you on Monday 13 March from 9.05am to 9.25am - look forward to seeing you then! And remember if you have any questions about your child's Maths lessons please talk to their class teacher.
We currently have two vacancies for committed class teachers who are ready to join our Outstanding team. We're looking for an EYFS teacher to make sure all pupils get off to a great start. We're also looking for a Key Stage 1/Key Stage 2 teacher who can support pupils to achieve their very best as they move through the school.
