Each term we run a series of parent workshops on different themes to help parents and carers to understand how you can best support your child's learning at home. All workshop dates are listed in the Diary Dates section of the website. We also upload most of the workshop presentations at this link so please take a look and us know if you have any questions, or suggestions for future workshops.
Thanks to the lovely Beanstalk charity, whose volunteers come into school weekly to help children with their reading, we have 150 tickets to the Peacock Theatre's production of Hansel and Gretel up for grabs! Request for tickets slips have been sent home with all children in their book bags.
If you would like to go to the panto (which is on Saturday 28 January) please fill out the form, letting us know how many tickets you would like, and make sure the slip is returned to school by Monday 16 January at 3.30pm. Please make sure you include a £1 donation for each ticket you have requested, which will go to the School Council's chosen charity Book Bus, which provides a mobile library for remote communities in Zambia. Request slips will be picked at random and anyone who does not get picked will have their money returned. Good luck!
All parents and carers are invited into school tomorrow (Thursday 5 January) from 9am to 10.30am to help children launch their topics for this term. The children really enjoy having their families with them for this exciting event, so we hope you can make it. For more information about learning for this term, please see the curriculum page at this link, select the relevant year group for your child and look at the Spring term activities.
